  2. The reporter definitely understood that what happens in the US doesn't happen anywhere else. That was quite literally his point. Cruz was upset by the reality he could no longer deny. The American dream is a nightmare. Why weren't there government funded mental health services for the troubled parents or child to access as is standard across Europe? That could have stopped this. It's so telling of what's wrong with your society that you just say 'oh he's mad, what can you do', forget gun restrictions if you really think it's important that mental people are free to buy guns, but let's take care of the mental health deterioration that leads to mass shootings as a desparate way out.

  3. Strategic standpoint? What do you mean? The leading cause of child death is murder. How could you possibly claim any country where that is the case is safe? It was totally baffling, he's literally delusional. He can't admit the society he claims to work for is broken.
