  3.  @ArmoredG  whyre you talking about left arm in a comment section regarding a right match with genadi? also not sure if youre aware but devon has been the #1 on left on earth before (before denis kicked his butt), so theres that + he did beat pavlo who has a recent win on Kody Merritt who was NA #1 and has ranked super high in evw before. Also for the record Kamil got pins on Vitaly recently dont forget. Devon and kamil also vsd eachother when devon didnt train left for 4+ years and they both had a supermatch within days before. That enough info for you?

  4.  @ArmoredG  I mean as I said devon hadnt been training his arm for something like 6 years before the kamil match, and in the last 6 months has started training again. thats a pretty big change you realise right? Devon beat Pushkar for the Left handed title years before WAL so I dont know why youre referencing that. yes denis was champ but hes long gone so not worth talking about. People also saw devon crack morozov the current champs wrist however I dont really care about practice pulls like that. I dont think you should underestimate Devon, he 3-1d the dude whos currently rank 1 in NA (Pavlo) without training his left.

  5.  @ArmoredG  I do agree I think it will be tough for devon in that top 5 but definitely possible considering how strong he is. pretty much all those matches on right wouldnt be close except maybe vitaly and morozov and I think Devon owns vitaly personally

I think devon beats Alex in a supermatch, devon is just a menace in that format and would outlast him. No idea how those other matches in top 5 would go though. Vitaly in last 2 years lost to dave chaffee and ermes. Devon easily 3-0d both as well as 15+ other dudes. I get vitaly is bigger right now and everyones hyped but I still think Devon is the favourite. probably 3-1. Devon takes vitalys wrist

  8. 1. he does trash talk, has trash talked devon calling him a pussy and trash talked ermes for being happy about winning a round. 2. he pushed the rules against devon by putting his shoulder far past centre rd 1 and thats just his last match. he also somewhat acted disliking devon when he actually likes him but I guess thats a stretch. I will admit vitaly is 'probably' stronger now since then but you cant just not include ermes improvements or Knowing how to beat him (which he already did recently)

  24.  @kanethesevenfootmonster868  yeah I know thats true, however the injury was more of a sustained injury that came out afterward not during the match. And in the end Vitaly only got 1 pin on ermes which is all that matters really. Dont forget they both know how they feel on the table now so less chance of injury for both in rematch probably

My point is that BEcause he lost to dave and ermes at east vs west/kott quite recently, that meant that he was never high enough ranked AT EVW to get a match against devon.

  37.  @Kar-Karych-t7f  Ok so couple points: 1. the rating does matter to an extent and you def dont need a tournament bracket to make ratings work, you just need enough supermatches which we are finally getting to the point of in EvW where the ratings are actually pretty accurate. 2. my point asnt so much that he was ranked lower, its more that he had been coming off more than 1 loss to people that devon had smoked. Yes the Ranking doesnt matter and they can basically do any match they want at anytime HOWEVER what does matter is people on winstreaks and availability. If you have a guy whos just won 3 in a row against top dudes and a dude who is like 2-1 or whatever, it doesnt make as much sense to put them together. if vitaly loses to dave, and then 6 months later devon smashes dave easily 4-0 then why would it make sense to make that matchup? the rank doesnt matter but the winning/losing does matter. Also Vitaly cant compete in US so it complicates a lot of things

  38.  @Kar-Karych-t7f  well most EvW armwrestlers dont need more than 2-3 months to prepare for each match we see people like Todd Hutchings pulling 5+ times a year at 55+ years old so I dont think you need to feel bad for vitaly for pulling 3-4 times. The way the rankings work is you replace who you beat which yes you arent always going to vs someone higher (although the person you are vsing is). I dont think you are aware but Morozov was actually higher than vitaly in rankings until vitaly beat him, now vitaly replaced him. The rankings dont always matter for setting matches but theyre becoming a good indicator of the top 10-20. The reason Devon vsd genadi was because they wanted a big main event for Georgia and Genadi was very keen for the match so they did it. Vitaly pulled morozov for the left hand title at the same event if you forgot. You seem to forget a few of these details. You act like devon setup genadi but genadi asked for that match. Yes devon knows you cant be at peak all year but devons happy to pull 15 times in 1 year much older than vitaly lol the younger athlete shouldnt be so worried about these things

I think Tsvetkov, Chaffee, maybe kurdecha and ermes have be known to puil 4+ times a year but I get its more rare with the big guys. Its obviously a tough ask for vitaly to beat michael todd, Devon and Levan in one year but who cares we can see all these matches multiple times if we need to. People get injured but its not like mma, you can last into old age. I think you are kinda mistaken when you talk about Vitaly asking for the match for a long time and devon not agreeing, Yes that happened with this match this year (devon had an excuse) but if you go back and look at all the other times in the past its more just schedules not lining up and generally Engin does all the matchmaking anyway. Vitaly would be having Left hand matches or other ones while devon was preparing for Levan or maybe going to the weight divisions etc. No one is ducking anyone, and none of those dudes are scared of eachother. its all just a matter of scheduling and things working out (people being similar rank or winstreak) at the right time. Its not even a big ask to pull michael todd first then pull devon 3-4 months later. its tough but he wants it.
