@Paladin5555 all branches have speciality schools (Navy calls it A School.) Pretty much you have to test a certain level to get on the ASVAB and I heard the qualifications of being a sub is competitive especially amongst the officers. You have to do more training than most others especially in knowing engineering and mechanics. They have a lot more qualifications that you need to pass

@bullseyebaby56 thing is MRE is supposed to be a faster and more convenient way to eat chow. Do you think the army and marines would be able to have a nearby chow hall in the middle of a war zone? No. Plus MREs are supposed to pack essential nutrition to perform your duty in the field. The Navy, especially the sub force, isn't under constant movement on the front lines

@boonxai that is false. The military requires a diploma or GED just to enlist. I knew people who enlisted into the military to pay off college and they ended up getting degrees, especially one Korean guy who was in the Army got a degree in finance. To say that all the guys in the army are air breathers would be a bit of a stretch since there are some that are really smart

@JonatasAdoM nah. Thing is they have don't have any requirements for a lot of their programs (i.e. being a pilot. They aren't allowing anyone taller than 6'5" or shorter thab 5'2" to be a pilot. As long as you meet those requirements they aren't complaining.)
