  1. Candy, have you ever shot a firearm before? You can't shoot someone in a certain area unless they stand still. If someone was running at you, do you think you can aim for the legs and pray that they hit? You shoot at the most mass, which is the upper body and not the legs...

  2. so if someone lunges at you with a knife you would try tasing them? it doesn't work that way. a taser works if you have aim and both stand still, given that it paralyzes the person.

  3. Robby, because if a person is going to try to harm or possibly kill you, you shoot them. It's called self-defense. A person who is coming at you with a knife isn't asking for you to injure them. If some nut was trying to stab you, would you try to aim for the legs? No, because aiming for the legs is more difficult than people realize. I was told and trained to aim for the biggest mass, which is the upper body.
