  1. Lilly W. It's a safety hazard. Imagine if you were traveling at 100 miles an hour in a car. Your body isn't going to be in a normal state if you break all of a sudden. Same thing applies here because planes need speed to get to a high altitude and your body isn't in its normal state because your body is being pushed back by force.
