@LinZhasInfiniteSwag do you even know what the word means? You can take possession but you have to prove that you are making improvements to the home and paying for things such as bills and taxes. Holy crap you don't know your legal terminology.

@GABRIELADAWSON yo dipshit. You do know that raising taxes means raising prices on everything else right? California says to keep jacking up the minimum wage but we pay more. People need to find out what their budget is and not spend it on unnecessary bullshit like a 30k car or fancy things. God damn you are so stupid. And before you say I'm one of the elite I'm saving up and invest so I don't end up on the streets and I make about 2k a month but I don't own a BMW or Lexus.

@giorgiowesley4429 you do realize they have a value for the home right? That's why appraisers go out and estimate the value of the home. That information is then passed on to the mortgage lender.

You're confusing squatting and adverse possession. Adverse possession means that you go to the legal channels and take possession (depending on the state) and pay taxes as well as make improvements. Squatting on the other hand is what sovereign citizens are using. They take up illegal residence and don't pay taxes or go through the legal channels.

@ek07305 well people were part of the issue as well. People were using too much credit and not having enough cash to pay it off either. People still aren't smart enough to know their limits.
