  4. But it depends on how and when you use tariffs. Tariffs done at the wrong time and way have led to the Great Depression. You also would make it more difficult to look for anyone to buy your products, meaning the US would have a bigger trade deficit and the losses would have to come from higher taxes and prices, meaning the average person would suffer. The job creation is utter nonsense as the last trade war cost 250k in job layoffs in the manufacturing sector and farmers having to be bailed out because China refused to buy any produce from the US.

The GDP fell and trade deficit grew, buyouts for farmers, manufacturing job loss, and income inequality grew. Musk doesn't know how to run a business either and would cause the government and economy to collapse with Trump.
