  5.  @DeviousDeusExMachina  it's stupid in that people coming on sometimes have a short on ramp to the freeway (this is especially true in my area.) If I'm in the far right lane and someone is coming on, I usually slow down since they have to speed up.

  7. @dalesmith2061  Based on traffic flow, he could have used the middle lane since there was no excuse not to. General rule of thumb is you should use the middle lane if you are traveling for some miles and switch to the right lane if you plan to exit. It's what I do.
