@IKhanNot thing is in this case the truck could have went in but the cammer decided to speed up which is dangerous and could have caused an accident. The cammer would be cited and would share liability in this case

@FelixUmbra then does that justify speeding up? The truck was nearly passing the cammer when the idiot decided to play the victim card by speeding up. You cannot have a car going the same distance next to you
9
Bruh really? There were so many spots to park in but I guess some people are too lazy to walk

@DJJumpdancer wrong and wrong. Any defense that you would use about this wouldn't hold up. Know why? In some states general rule of thumb is that if someone can overpass you on the right and there is no traffic then you would be cited and found at fault for holding up traffic. The mustang did not pass or overtake any cars at that point so they were illegally using the left lane as you can only use it to overtake or pass traffic but as soon as you pass and there are no other cars to overpass then you have to move to the right lane.

@Smurphenstein then the mustand shouldn't drive if they are going to be doing this type of stunt. It isn't new and people are too stupid to remember the basic rules of the road. At no point did the mustang (from the look of the video) overtake traffic which would mean if highway patrol and traffic court were to rule on this it would be against the favor of the mustang https://ksltv.com/446352/safe-in-60-how-to-use-the-passing-lane/?

@Tracert-mc1hu then learn to move over since you don't own the road. These types of idiots cause the rage and act like the victim when they can move over and it's not the end of the world
3
@joycelebaron2582 so? Guy could have been a handyman, visitor or possible tenant going in. But hey this is America and I guess everyone is going to be butt lazy to park and walk
3
@FelixUmbra you may want to read this since the case can be against the cammer: https://www.injurylawpalmbeach.com/article/merging-accident/#:~:text=Maintain%20a%20Consistent%20Speed,never%20to%20surprise%20other%20drivers. This is from the website: For example, if the merging driver determines that they have enough room to move into the next lane, but a speeding driver hits them, the speeding driver caused the accident by driving unsafely. If the speeding driver had slowed down, the merging driver could have merged safely.

@rogerwilcojr thing was the cammer was having a fit and decided to play cute by speeding up and cutting off the truck. You can also see the truck was almost going faster and the cammer decided to speed up and look like a victim. The guy needs to be taken off the road ffs.
2
@MisterMA77H3W well it would be up to the court and whoever has jurisdiction over that part of the road (assuming it is highway patrol.) But in this case I would think that the mustang if it was driving on the highway could be partially at fault for driving in the left lane when there is no traffic at all and it could be cited for causing traffic
2
@SilentBob84 wtf. You must be one of those idiots who thinks they own the road. Ffs one of these days you're going to get your ass handed to you

@IKhanNot and you don't seem to know that in this case the cammer could be found at fault: For example, if the merging driver determines that they have enough room to move into the next lane, but a speeding driver hits them, the speeding driver caused the accident by driving unsafely. If the speeding driver had slowed down, the merging driver could have merged safely. This is from a website for an injury attorney. The right to yield means you don't speed up to prevent someone from getting in and causing an accident. Seriously you should read up on this stuff since you pull it the court is going to go against you and your insurance rate would go up
1
@IKhanNot not every merging case will be in the favor of the lane that isn't ending. You may want to reconsider since the cammer could be at fault and would be held responsible https://www.injurylawpalmbeach.com/article/merging-accident/#:~:text=Maintain%20a%20Consistent%20Speed,never%20to%20surprise%20other%20drivers.

@TheMoogoescow still the cammer did engage in part of it since he decided to speed up and honk. The truck was going faster but the cammer decided to be the douche that day. I don't think the truck would be the only one at fault since the cammer decided to speed up and cause an improper merge
