@harukills in a sense. However I think greed is defined by taking too many resources and getting things you don't need while selfishness means you want to survive and be the first to live while letting others suffer.

@jayaroh4378 you forget to take into account several factors. One is how they will obtain resources. Many of the current resources are being used up, and it is often impossible to replenish them. Second is how they will be able to live amongst themselves. It's not like the stone age where they got greedy and wanted a lot more than what they had.

Not a bad start but there needs to be more done.

@Reply to what I wrote, not to what you assumed what you consider good is based on greed and overconsumption, not the needs to survive. Having what you need to survive and not needing anything else is good enough.

 @IBTU it's true. Look at how civilizations collapse and the reasons behind them. Humans pose a threat to themselves and will justify such actions through religion or through politics.
