7:00 I live in rural Georgia, but I've had experiences similar to this. There used to be an old family restaurant that made southern/home cooked food that left many years ago. Each business after that has failed every single time. There was an Italian restaurant that tried to charge Gucci prices in a town of 1,200 people in the south. There was this one restaurant where the owner apparently scammed his employees out of their checks. And now I think there's a fifth restaurant since the closing down of the very first one. It's most likely not due to costs, but the area is just terrible. I'll come back here and edit this comment in the future when the most recent business inevitably shuts down.

"FULL STOP." This isn't Twitter. Go there if you want to talk like a girl with an onlyfans, piercings, and daddy issues.

Leave Soylifornia and Soy York then.

Samsung is the Apple of android. The last great phone they made was the Note 9. They can suck shit now.

Yeah the market has "chosen" but the average consumer doesn't know what's best for them. It is mind boggling just how tech illiterate the average consumer is. To the point where they don't even know what exact model phone they have. I don't mean model like "GT-Z054," but I mean they literally don't know if they have an iPhone 14 or 14 Pro Max. I've also routinely gotten into arguments with these types of people that have successfully fell for the gaslighting from Apple and Samsung that wired headphones are somehow "outdated" (even though the sound quality is objectively better with wired headphones) and you lose water resistance. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S10 series (which came out just in 2019) had a headphone jack and IP 68 water resistance. I'm not trying to be a holier than thou pompous prick, but it is beyond frustrating being in the minority of smartphone users and having the market shaped by people who don't even know how much storage their phone has or who don't know the proper name for lightning cables and USB-C cables.

Yeah I don't trust Brave for shit, but the ad is still funny.

"Creators won't get paid!" I don't care.

Social shaming is such a broccoli cut, zoomer thing to do.

If I'm buying a newer device then I'd consider refurbished, but I'm always going to try and find a sealed in box, brand new device if I'm looking at a phone that's a few years old. I recently bought a sealed in box LG V60. And while it is a 3 year old phone, it doesn't have 3 years of use like most LG V60's out there do. So I can use a phone that has the features I enjoy for years to come.

You should really watch this video to understand what these ads are really intended for. https://youtu.be/RLlgBinVDS0

Yeah I'm definitely getting this on my next phone. This is really cool.

Respectfully I personally don't care as this issue doesn't affect me, and my Sony WH-1000XM4's have lasted me 3 years now. But hopefully they get this figured out.

That seems cheap for Apple lmfao.

Also I should mention that massive companies such as Samsung and Apple (and even others such as Google or Oppo) have massive budgets for r and d and could easily make a user serviceable device without compromising on build quality.

You give the general public too much credit, Louis.

I have literally never had any issues with accidental touches on an edge display. I don't understand what the problem is.

Normies aren't paying $1,300 for phones. They're only getting the phones because carriers allow them to make payments. That's the only reason why any of them have nice shit. Do you honestly think most people can drop $50,000 on a brand new vehicle? No. But you still see people with decent, brand new cars all the time. Payments are the only reason normies have nice, brand new shit.

Yeah glass is alright, but it's not something that I need or care about. But if you do want a textured back then you can just get a skin for your phone.

I mean I've never had Netflix, but I made the permanent decision to never support them and any of their shows when they tried to release sexually suggestive material involving minors back in 2019. The fact that most of you just forgot about that blows my mind.
