It's consistent with other reports, the first sort was for tanks which were serviceable, now they've gone through the easily repairable ones and we're starting to get the remainder, those which can move but not fire. It also means they're running out of APCs.

They're more efficient than LEDs Buy a new radio - DAB+ upgrade so they can fit more channels in. Each channel = new licences. We'll soon be told to buy a new Government.

It involves cognitive suppression, which releases a limbic process from the animal brain, normally held in check by our will: if the traumatic trigger is held in the mind's eye, the process can drain the associated reflex response. Other pathways exist which do the same thing, running from the psychotropic through the shamanic and hypnotic to the meditative.

There's a group of senior politicians I'd trust with my life - indeed, very nearly would have actually done so, had it not been that the guy whose boots they wanted me to fill had been betrayed by Fred Mulley. Johnny Mercer, David Davis, Rory Stewart, they're straight. Andrew Mitchell, one or two others. Ex-military. I know them well, count them as friends. They're wise, cautious, and a core opposition to Boris' mafia. They value moderation and democracy. When I showed what a genius could do, diplomatically, Boris in his eternal wisdom thought he could invent the same, getting Cummings to call for weirdos and misfits. The result was the Sabisky affair. He was petrified of the circle, and set about destroying us. The result is untrusstworthy.

But the same is true everywhere, and what happened betrays an even worse issue, a lack of conscience. And continuing to cop out... Just to certify my experience, I was 20 years on the European CFSP team, officially HQ Accountant of WEU, but practically (bean-counters being ten-a-penny) the economic intelligencer on the crisis management team, able to anticipate major issues. In plain English, I can and have steered the economies of several countries in trouble. I'm not certain how much was nature, how much nurture, but some of us go way on back.

However, there are mistakes needing correction - Boris fooled everyone with his Churchill act, when the reality is he'd been turned by the biggest honeypot ever found, Lebvedev's Perugia Estate: an investigative reporter had retired to the town and the word spread, so he was able to get his hands on their Secret Service report, the entire hill is owned by various FSB people, and there's a shot of Boris slinking away without his usual guards when he was Foreign Secretary. I'm still mindful of my duty of confidentiality, but protecting a traitor who caused me great harm is not one of them.

And yes, I am a trained infantry platoon commander, head of my course at the UK School of Infantry in the late 70s. Things happen in the field all around you, it's called the fog of war, in fact the reason I stood out was because I used a massive bank of smoke to perfectly position a section of infantry I was in charge of to "wipe out" a platoon of Gurkhas. We got within ten feet of them and positioned in the perfect attack formation, completely unnoticed - they were looking the other way! It was then just a case of running across, kicking helmets to let them know.
