I also hate the father, just a smart ass character that escaped roll call for his social place keep ass kicking. If he'd received what he needed/deserved he probably never would've developed into the failure of a man he was for his Son. What incalculable damage, what betrayal. The Son, a victim, seems like an innocent man who lost someone very special that he needed. To find out this woman & the father stole this from him. God is mad on his behalf & more.
