  1. Hmm. I don’t have a Colt, but I have a 6 cylinder 6” old revolver that I misfired once, the only misfire I’ll ever have. The hammer caught slightly on the hip holster & it wasn’t enough for the Transfer Bar to draw up in order to protect the firing pin. It went off the way several people had reassured me Revolvers wouldn’t. One of which was an ex sheriff that was a gun shop owner as well, he advised me to get a revolver over a glock for the possibilities of misfires. People have a false sense of security about revolvers in general that is quite incomplete. I’m confident after reinspecting the mechanisms of my weapon that I could reproduce the misfire. & NO I don’t have a piece of shat like a Taurus. It’s a very pleasing weapon. Everyone instructed me that revolvers wouldn’t misfire except for my Father, a Marine Corp Vietnam Combat Veteran. Even my Grandfather failed to mention it & reassured me of its security, God rest his soul, & he’s a Guadalcanal Raider Combat Veteran, but he was very old. 🕊Halyna was a very beautiful woman & I’m very sorry for her family. My heart goes out to them. If you’ve just refreshed your knowledge where it wasn’t previous to this incident, file back your teeth. It deserves consideration.
