  1. The Japanese and Fins by conducting military exercises near the disputed territories could make a major contribution toward the defence of Ukraine. China also has territorial claims over parts of far eastern Russia, including valuable ports, even a 'friendship without limits' could have its limitations. If Russia has striped its defences elsewhere they must be really desperate and nervous. Slava Ukrainie!

If I might don my tin foil hat for a moment my suggestion is that the damage to the bridge included significant NATO input the purpose of which was to send two messages to Russia, firstly to tell Russia that if you damage our infrastructure (eg Nordstream) we'll damage yours and secondly if we can do this so easily just think what would happen if we were serious. As others have commented the explosion was likely from below but if it wasn't then perhaps a truck load of ancient Russian explosive devices that were improperly loaded and they exploded.

  25. It is being reported that US LNG destined for Asia is being diverted to Europe and Australian LNG being used to fulfill the Asian shortfall. Furthermore, Australian coal that the Chinese no longer want is also being diverted to Europe. Europe will likely be in for a difficult winter but no where near being catastrophic.
