  2. Totally agree the NZ approach is several light years ahead of that of Denmark. The current strategy of the NZ government is to slow the spread of the virus which they appear to be successful at. The high vaccination rates will ensure that the hospitals will not be overwhelmed. In Australia, targeted restrictions combined with high vaccination rates has ensured that the hospitals are not overwhelmed and the number of deaths limited. NZ is currently a case study in how to successfully manage a highly infectious virus whereas Denmark isn't.

  3. Up until 1 February 2022, New Zealand has had 10 (yes ten) confirmed covid deaths whereas Denmark has had 648 deaths per million of population. On current data New Zealand has been far more successful than Denmark in keeping its citizens alive.
