Gary, The very best thing you can do is to follow the advice of the West Australian health authorities, this of course involves vaccination, wearing a mask when outside your home, avoiding crowds and frequent hand washing. Any specific questions should be directed to your GP. I live in Queensland and my approach is to practice all of the above with the intention of delaying the time when I become infected until after the hospitals have returned to normal. To require hospitalisation when they may be overwhelmed could result in a sub-optimal outcome. I hope this helps.
