There are numerous videos on YT of people visiting supermarkets in Russia and showing how good things are, I cannot help thinking that these are Potemkin villages, remember that even just prior to the USSR collapsed and shops had no bread etc the well-connected however still lived well. The educated in Moscow & St Petersburg know that the ruble is near worthless but the collapse will not occur until that fact percolates throughout society, that will take time but perhaps less than most pundits think.
