  2. 10. Idaho - Possibly best scenery in the country. Residents stop typing because conservatives from California are moving there. Not liberals. 9. Washington - Great for health issues and lots of trees. Hard to be bored. 8. Colorado - Great for families. Most picturesque. Depressing to leave. 7. Vermont - just like New Hampshire with less people. And good maple syrup. Great for the holiday season. 6. New Hampshire - good education, little crime and #1 in opportunity 5. Wisconsin - people don't really leave here because the people here are great. Not including Milwaukee. 4. Texas - Hard to say anything bad about TX except the heat. And they like guns 3. Maine - safest place in the country. Movie-like towns. Scenic winters. 2. Oregon - Great hikes, good coffee, great people, beautiful scenery. 1. Pennsylvania - not because of Pittsburgh or Philly. Alot of great small towns. Good quality of land for cheap.

  32. Jails and prisons are very different. When you're caught driving drunk they take you to jail, not to prison. You have to be convicted first to go to prison. Jails are temporary stays and are usually downtown and in each municipality of a city. Prisons are long term/permanent, far bigger, and are usually isolated from the majority of the population.

West Garfield As accurate as this list is, I think everyone should look at a map, draw a line around all the bad neighborhoods, then look at the entire (metro) map of Chicago and see that the city as a whole really isn't that bad. Furthermore, most of the violent crime happens to people who are living that kind of life. Average blue and white collar people aren't (edit: directly) affected. These neighborhoods have great culture and like he said they produce alot of great talent in alot of areas. Chicago is a great city and is personally my favorite city in America. Just saying all of this for those that didn't listen to Briggs last comment in this video.

  38.  @janephillips3627  I wouldn't think so. With the exception of Philly and Detroit, Chicago is bigger than every city on the list combined. The five or six really bad neighborhoods in Chicago has been overhyped by the media. Comparatively speaking, Chicago isn't as bad as it's portrayed.
