You grazed a big reason. "You need to rehire your workforce that may NOT FEEL like going back to work yet". Governments are printing money, handing it out, and driving inflation over these people. I'm not saying it was good at the time but it's time to be completely over. Too much money chasing to few goods is exactly right.
