Should have called the police.

@WelcomeToCostcoILoveYou Food is a human right? I must have missed that in the constitution.
15
Contact with family, I understand. Contact on tiktok for clout. I don't.
14
Stick to news not speculation.
14
So.. it sounds like he is troubled more than than the original charge. He refuses to abide to the conditions, not following rules of group home, smoking weed, etc. Calling them "technical violations" is ridiculous. There are rules in place for a reason. Can't be around your family that contains vulnerable people, seems reasonable to me. However, I think you could successfully argue that some crimes that currently force registry should not be on there. I agree with the one guy. It is more admirable to be a murderer.
14
If she gets arrested "every Friday" they should keep her in jail as a public nuisance.
13
So... Prior to the crowd being pepper sprayed, what was happening? They weren't just walking around and the police rolled up and sprayed them. Come on Vice, give us the full story.
13
@dAeveFellows What? All the news and the mostly peaceful protests with buildings burning to the ground? CNN even covered Anfita as terrorist and getting out of hand. You are living in a dream world if you believe what you said to be true.
13
Agreed. They need to empower girls to vocalize more. Having a honest discussion with boys isn't a bad thing though.
13
Isn't there a ceasefire in Turkey? Why didn't you mention that?
13
Who did the editing on this video? There is sound over sound. It's super weird.
12
LOL😆
12
But didn't the Dems say not to have large gatherings for political rallies? Or does Covid not matter now?
11
@juliancalero8012 No one is preventing them from leaving. "trapped" is the wrong word to use. I understand that they are leaving Haiti but it's a choice/preference and they have a free flight back.
11
Can't they leave if they agree to close their application for refugee status and voluntarily deport? They also keep saying that they are in trouble if it gets in. It probably won't... unless people are continuing to come in illegally. Why did Wendy choose to break the law?
11
Contact VICE I'm sure they could make it happen
10
"If don't meet the standard, they don't meet the standard. " But wait VICE, I thought you said they are accepting a lower standard?? Specifically said "we are not short changing the standard"
10
Joel Schwartz I don't understand your point. This woman is advocating laws for citizens not armies. The laws she is promoting in part have no change other than look of the weapon.
10
This almost looks like the start of a video game
10
@blasalvice You can't be serious. Why would you have a child and bring them into a situation that is similar to hell on earth. USA is pretty good compared. But if you are poor in the USA you probably shouldn't be pumping out the kids either
10
This doesn't provide me hope at all. It's all wishes and no action. You know why an American child produces so much more carbon than other nations? Because we live in absolute luxury. - who cares if you run the tap well a little longer to get the water hot -A new iphone came out, have to buy it. In fact if you don't have a cell phone it is a fate worse than death -Have to buy a new dress, people have seen me in all of these. -Oh need at least 6 pairs of shoes. -Need that 2k sq foot house with a family of 3. It needs to have a dinning room, kitchen, mud room, etc. I looked to buy a small house... They don't exist. -It doesn't matter if Im overweight pass the potatoes. -Need to drive a truck to work.school, not a little 4 cylinder.

When they asked David to stop and warned him... Why didn't he stop? Why was it so important to him? People want to keep equating police incidents to racism. I don't think that is the case, although I could believe culture may have some influence in the interactions. Police are reactive and are trained to maintain control at all times, when people don't comply immediately, it's seen as a loss of control. As for more indigenous being incarcerated I would say it has more to do with poverty in the community than racism and it's looks like the lawyer agrees with me "address the soci economical causes".
10
arbitter what do you base this "fact" on? What determines need?
10
But I thought Michael Moore told us Cuba had amazing health care and it was better than America
9
This situation is very unfortunate. Both sides at times have said mass gatherings are ok. I don't think his death is solely Trump's fault. Although possibly undiagnosed I don't believe is man had no preexsisting conditions. He is clearly overweight and that is not good for the heart.
9
If I was the interviewer I would have asked: How many women have you talked to in person in the last 30 days? What have you done in the last 30 days to grow as a person?
9
There it is.. He talks about how ruined some families are ruined and they lost everything, house is damaged to move back in. "So you realize you need to seek a new future, and that means migrating to the US." Why? Why does it mean migrating to the US? Why not Mexico? Why not Cuba? Is there any cities in Guatemala that are not hammered by tropical storms?
9
Helping refugees is great. Maybe if people stop coming in illegally it can be started up again.
9
@JohnnyFukcup They were in Birkenau. Nazis, if anything, kept meticulous records... or are those fake too?
9
I didnt' hear "why democracy is still on the line".
9
Seems like he had a troubled past. I wonder if it played a role in this interaction both with what he did and what the officers did. Either way, he didn't deserve to die. The officer has been charged and needs to be found guilty.
9
at 4:51 why do they have an American flag?
9
01:27 This is the truest part of video "We're trying to revitalize the area as a UFO town"
9
Did you not watch the video or just ignorant of the law? This individual followed the rules that are in place.
9
guessing not... because they wouldn't be setting back fires
8
Don't commit crime. This woman is talking about paying back money that she owes that "they know " she can't pay. Did she think of what the company could afford when she was embezzling money? Do as I say not as I do.
8
So his platform is BS and buzzwords. There are universal background checks. The gun show loophole is a myth. Assault rifle is not a recognized as a common term at the federal level in my understanding. Also handguns are more widely used in crimes. No ins else is taking about it because it is a loosing issue.
8
So.. he talked about white people having this trauma from stressors in the medieval times. Do Black people have these same stressors from them mistreating each other long ago? This seems like a lot of hypothetical has his theory been peer reviewed?
8
who? This just seems like a commercial for people she is working with or knows
8
I believe she is trying to make a point. Her premiums are higher to make up for the shortage
8
Seems like something to easily google. Yes. Islam and Muslims can divorce.
8
Justice is government funded, indigenous lead? The problem with this is there is no set agreed upon remedy. Money isn't the issue, there is lots of it between bands own investments and government funding. It's the same reason why there are so many indigenous children in foster care today, the community is broken. It's going to take very strong leaders from within to stand up and hold community members accountable to each other.
8
It's like I have said many time regarding climate change. Buy local and know where the things you buy come from.
8
People don't care as much as you think they do, especially skateboarders. People tend to be very self involved and not give to much notice to others. She said it herself "now people will either recognize me or I can skate good enough that they won't mess with me". You show up and you obviously belong in the group they will look up and then go back to whatever they were doing.
8
Yeah they still keep crossing the border illegally.
8
too bad people are blind to the idea that government hurts more than it helps.
7
Is this a commercial for Marnina or did VICE think this was a good news piece?
7
This is weird. I haven't heard a lot about UFO lately. Watched JRE today and they talked about the government pushing it more to bring the counties together eg common enemy. Then VICE sent this out. So strange.
7
Firefighters are stoned if they go in? Talk about biting the hand that feeds. "The so called migrant crisis". So much bias in that statement. She said he made some statements, he said he did not and it ended. Why just let that go if it is true?
7
@reslario More like purposefully ignoring all those bright bold signs, decide to ski out of bounds, and then demand the ski hill pay for your injuries. Using your analogy... Did the hiker take all proper safety precautions including proper footwear, clothing, and accessories? Or did they hike in a clearly marked avalanche warning area while wearing running shoes and a t-shirt? EDIT: I also never said anything about "receiving treatment for your injuries". I talked about performing an action with known consequences and being surprised when they happen. For instance I learned about pregnancy at... 12.
