  8. That is the epicentre of boarder crossing... I think you are lying. VICE has interviewed boarder patrol agents that are stopping hundreds a day. America is being overrun, it's not hyperbole. Billions a year is being lost due to illegal immigration. Spend 5 billion on a wall, spend an extra few billion on man power. You are not even close tot the very conservative estimate of 54 billion a year. You want healthcare, you want free school.. The only way that will happen is spending less money annually on something else.

  12. It isn't more difficult to vote than obtain a firearm. For a registered voter, it is easy to get a mail in ballot and send it in. You can even vote with no ID in most states, you would not be allowed to buy a gun.

  13. I was going to write something like this but you summed it up nicely. Same from their last video with mis representing firearms. There are other firearms with the exact same round but it has a wooden stock... so it's not scary enough.

Wait...so in Dallas, person is driving without a drivers license and have already entered the country illegally. The officer would just ticket and send on there way? That doesn't seem right.

  16.  @markiss7620  I don't expect him to be a technician. If interviewed I expect a mayor to be clear and concise about the issue and brief explanation of how it is being fixed. He seems very uncomfortable says like, umm , uhhh... That is what makes me think he is over his head. Half the job of mayor is PR. He/She is the face of the city.

  20. I can see the argument that there needs to be changes within the police service. Qualified immunity seems ,at times, to be over the top. The jail time associated with a simple possession have been contested in the court of public opinion many times. That being said, defunding the police won't work. Even with all the social programs in the world, there will still be people that falter. There will still be people that decide to murder each other. A social worker isn't going to show up during a bank robbery or armed individual shooting people in a school. IMO they need to slowly balance the scales. Society needs to invest more in the people and less enforcement but there will always be a need for a police presence when individuals can't follow the rules society has laid out.

  34. The problem is many landlords are just regular people who took a chance and scrimped and saved. I truly think it's failure in the government, not fellow citizens. We need a new framework instead of just choosing between 2 heads from the same beast. It's no coincidence that most politicians are rich in comparison to the average joe.

  35. The problem is "God's law" has flaws. I wouldn't be hanging my hat on the bible. The objection is over sexualizing or exposing children to sex at a young age. That is the concern. I was mostly on board until it came to people not being allowed to marry who they want. It's such a ridiculous concept to me.

  37. Almost every business is incentivized by profit.Businesses care about the quality of service for repeat customer, sure. No business would work actively to limit their customer base. IMO for profit prisons aren't the issue, it's people committing crime and getting caught. Address the causes of crime (poverty, mental health, etc) and vote in law makers that will lessen sentencing for non violent offenders. Personally I would love to see more community service for low level crimes.

  44. The fact that people are paying protesters is ridiculous. It shouldn't be a thing. Did VICE pay for it or were they just tipped off to come interview? If it is something you want to stand for, go do it. Personally I don't think that there was enough evidence presented to prove him guilty in our current justice system. Innocent until proven guilty. Similar situations have come up with left leaning public and there is no big cry for justice.
