  1. fat 862 you're right other countries and way less tolerant. I do limit my comments to the USA, maybe include Canada. This is mainly because it seems the left routinely only want to talk about perceived inequality at home. You mention something about gays being thrown off buildings in the Middle East and conversation doesnt seem to get anywhere.

  7. Do you really think that? The idea of how to do tattoos properly doesn't go out of the window. Established shops wouldn't change. A new shop... maybe would have issues. But I think they could exist in the current system at close to the same rate. I could see something completely new... Like I am offering this chip implant at my business. No one has investigated how to do it properly, if the chip are sustainable, or other issues.

  9.  M W  I didn't claim that it was easy. Very few things worth having are easy to get. Why isn't it stopped? Government limitations are probably the biggest hurdle. Mixed with citizens who want something different, it is a quagmire of bureaucracy. As for all your other stuff about abortion and healthcare I don't know where that is coming from. I did not mention these things. Personally I don't think abortion should be banned outright but limited more than some, I am guessing like you, believe. Victims of aggravated sexual assault should report immediately and be given Levonorgestrel for instance.

  18.  @jonathancheever9765  Didn't hear that the podium was stolen but i see that it was moved around. My point was private property, not public, to me there is a difference. It's still wrong but total cost of repair is going to be way less than even a fraction of what happened with protests earlier in the year.

Where I differ in opinion is the property owner not being important. IMHO a citizen, who wasn't involved in anyway, loosing his store and livelihood is a bigger travesty than what happened at the capitol.

  27. I know. I just see this video as a full on ad for patient advocates and I personally feel it is just another person trying to take advantage. Universal healthcare isn't all it is cracked up to be either. Long wait times and other issues. That is why you will see many Canadians coming to the US for treatment.

  31. It's been like this for while. Why wasn't it fixed under Obama? The lock was suppose to be fixed in the 90's? Sounds like government as a whole is failing and we need a new system. The problem is people want spending but don't want to pay taxes. i watched a good clip from a college student wanting free college. The host asked how much she would be willing to pay in additional taxes and she said "oh no, not me. I don't have any money". Made me laugh at the end. They know states won't increase taxation, so they need the money from somewhere else. Then demonizing splitting between private and public to get the money, which is the way to do it without higher taxation. The most laughable thing is then switching to people like Sanders who are questioning where the money is going to come from to fix the infrastructure.... Bernie is campaigning on billions in services he can't account for. Some reports put it at 90 trillion.

  33. @Charlie C all the time? Various studies estimate that in the United States, between 2.3 and 5% of all prisoners are innocent. I wouldn't call that all the time. And again... it doesn't matter. This woman is guilty of her crimes. Being wrongfully convicted doesn't play a role in her case.

  48. What I always wonder is if a given restaurant sounded the alarm bells and said their restaurant is at risk of shutting down would people come out (order in) to save it. It happened to a restaurant where I live and it hit the news. Although a little different a customer went in, found out they were closing, and reached out on social media. The restaurant stayed open and had lines up for 2 weeks after the message went out. Other places just seem to be closed the next day.

"You have got to clean your own house first before you tell other people that they aren't doing it right." It will stop if there are no customers. No more single use coffee cups produced in the USA would be a big change. Do you realize that Disposable hot coffee cups used in the US per day is close to 110 million?? PER DAY!!!! You are telling me the manufactoring, shipping, and decomposing of 40150000000 per year won't do anything? You are crazy. On top of that.... Saying it won't be a difference is BS. Plastic pollution is a big problem as well. Coke, Nestle, Pepsi plastics make up tons of landfill and ocean trash. Plastic also contributes to climate change. The manufacturing of plastic, and its disposal, creates a large amount of greenhouse gas. If citizens actually recycled or used refillable bottles it would be huge. Not to mention the cups and bottles use plastic created by oil which are part of the 100 companies you are referencing.
