  1. Almost every business is incentivized by profit.Businesses care about the quality of service for repeat customer, sure. No business would work actively to limit their customer base. IMO for profit prisons aren't the issue, it's people committing crime and getting caught. Address the causes of crime (poverty, mental health, etc) and vote in law makers that will lessen sentencing for non violent offenders. Personally I would love to see more community service for low level crimes.

  4.  @nonyabizness.original  You make good points and for the majority of offenders you are right. We have taken the ability to fend for themselves away and we need to cover the difference in a fair manner. As I said I think one of the first steps in not have these people go to prison in the first place. But... I'm ok with selling a child sex predator or someone who has committed an aggravated sexual assault to the lowest bidder 🤷
