I just came to find out what "black tiktok" is. Seems like needlessly race driven reporting. Copy-write seems like a reasonable solution for creators that seem to be overlooked. It will be interesting to see if it a person can distinguish dances unique enough to register.

The world is topsy turvy

@nikolas8741 I don't know what that means either.

m I think the point is stupid. It's doesn't matter what race they are. People are not being credited for their ideas. Their colour/heritage/belief system is irrelevant. I don't care if it is 100% one sided. It doesn't change how to address the problem.

m Ok .If you take into account that it is predominantly happening to black individuals. What is the solution?

m There is a trend, you are right. People are creating content and others are stealing and profiting off it. Doesn't matter what race they are. When the black community "took a day off tiktok to see how the others would dance to that new song". What happened? They didn't say. When it was happening at lot on Youtube was it White youtube? Of course not. This sounds just as dumb.

@fatlacesthedon I actually don't. I don't know any of these people and I don't use tiktok. All I am saying is it's not a race issue. Individuals are creating something, another uses it, and becomes successful with it. Based on one of the people highlighted and the single ladies dance moves, the law needs to catch up on intellectual property with this kind of art.

@nikolas8741 I see why you had to put it in latin

This I can agree with. If there is further money to be made on something an individual created than they should possibly share in that wealth. I don't know much about it but it seems a lot like a hit song... at least in the world of tiktok

@braunarsch presumably. Would they? Probably not.
