Two loving parents that are good people. That is all that really matters

@jake91hall I get your point but I think it's ridiculous. There will always be heterosexual couples that have kids and not give them up for adoption. I would suggest to you that a child in a home with two loving women is way better than a group home. Group homes, at least from my limited experience, screw kids up. I also don't believe that it's a choice to be LGBTQ and the child can just be nurtured into it. But let's say that's true... This is not a huge group of Americans. Google says 2% of Americans choose adoption with about 2.5% of children who have been adopted and that's all of them. If you then factor in only 3.5% of Americans consider themselves LGBTQ. It's a very small number of LGBTQ couples who choose to adopt and either not have kids or use other techniques like artificial insemination. And all that aside... It's a rights issue. Unless someone could prove that same sex parents adoption is detrimental. It should be allowed

@shamelessantics3386 Do you have any unbiased scientific data that supports this? From what I have read this has not been studied. I have read that single parent homes are problematic though.

@shamelessantics3386 So what I am reading is you don't have any data that supports this, as you completely dodged my request. The problem with what you are writing is you are making a comparison that I am not and when you are you can't provide data to back it up. Are quality mom/dad households better than mom/mom households? You might be right. That is not what the conversation is here and I don't think I have said that. Do you allow a mom/mom to adopt vs. a child remaining in, what I believe, is a terrible system?? Yes. 100% You give that child to experience a loving family, regardless of the make up.

@cmshottie62 Forced? Are you saying you could be forced to be gay?

@jake91hall Sure they do. Don't have children out of wedlock and don't give them up for adoption. This doesn't impede a religious person's rights in anyway. It's just something happening they may not agree with. Religious based adoption agencies.. I could see them having a say in where child goes
