  2.  @silvanabianchi-echeguren1179  There was US sanctions then as well, probably more. Obama was suppose to limit sanctions and worked to allow Americans to travel freely to Cuba. This has been the way it's been since the embargo started. Of course there are some years better than others but there has always been an unmet demand for prescription drugs in Cuba. People like Michael Moore want to tout the system as working amazingly but if you spend any amount of time in Cuba you start to see the pitfalls of the system.
