I don't believe the deal you speak of occurred. the USA got involved with one objective, defeat ISIS. Prove me wrong.

  3. ​ TempeR Swag I did google it and couldn't find anything other than conjecture. Trump is by far my "favourite politician". The Kurds and Turkey have bene fighting since the late 70's. Again I don't believe there was any agreement written down or even spoke about regarding defeating ISIS in exchange for any protection of any sort. Also Turkey was involved in fighting ISIS as well and Turkey claims to have been the first country which designated ISIL as a terrorist organization.
