  2. I'm sure New York holds private businesses accountable if not within compliance and having wheelchair access. The city itself not being in compliance is ridiculous.

  3. I like the idea of an additional crime to kill/injure a pregnant mother vs. a non pregnant one woman. Using it against a pregnant mother is a little OTT but the problem is people are choosing not to responsible. When any large group of people start doing something deemed irresponsible a law is introduced to limit it. Getting pregnant while facing an addiction or choosing to do illegal drugs after pregnancy is one of those irresponsible choices. Refusing to get a c-section is stupid but i would never support a criminal charge for that. The way these examples are being laid out it seems many were charged but very few, if any, were convicted. "Most people can't find representation that will give them the opportunity to challenge charges". That is sad but I think it also shows that the culture as a whole support some of these charges.
