I get it should not be but it is criminal at this point. Marijuana is illegal in these places. It might as well be psilocybin or MDMA. Push the state to change or move to a different state, those are the options. Just because they are willing to do it doesn't believe they don't think you did it. They can agree to this to save courts time or a conviction is less likely.
