Canada needs immigration to keep the economy humming. All those natives that we stole all this land from... Don't you think we should be helping them more? Or just keep giving it away to Italy?

  20. Canada can't retaliate. Canada has gotten weaker and weaker over the years. We don't produce very much internally. It's not the best solution but we need to become slightly more nationalist and protect ourselves first. Quit sending so much money and aid to foreign countries and build ourselves up for awhile.

  22. Values of homes consistently go up. It is similar to a portfolio. But it is a big chunk. I don't agree with the premise other than the down payment. At the end of the day, when you are a renter you are paying the mortgage and other handling fees to the landlord.

  23. I asked my provider about these calls yesterday as I was hoping there was something I haven't heard about to stop the madness. Pretty much no solution. They are now spoofing their number to regular people so you can't even call slam to slow it down.

Immigration is defined as "the action of coming to live permanently in a foreign country." and country defined as a nation with its own government, occupying a particular territory. When the first settlers of North america showed up there was no government. So... not a country.
