  1. Yet another fallacy. "everyone can tell the difference.." - only someone with a very poor knowledge of sociology and modern anthropology can state that. Even westerners, who appear in Russia for a first time, tend to think it is a democracy, just may be a bit weird one. But what would you expect from locals (more than 85%) who NEVER saw democracy? Who also have bias against it. And who claim (right now!) that they live in the freest and richest country, with a best president possible. And if there are some problems, they are only caused by some not very honest local authorities, which Putin can't control "because Russia is too big".

  5. Sorry, Paul, you are wrong. Not a single chance. Only the one who don't know Russians, how atomised their society is, can think differently. Even in normal society, slaves don't initiate it. Unless some Spartacus appears. No sight of such in Russia in the nearest future. Comparing Russia to China is so lame! Looks our dear Paul never met a single Russian or read a single Russian book. People who don't know what freedom is, will NEVER seek one! And especially those, who think that patience for hardship is a sort of national pride. The only type of rebellion is possible there - the one "on the knees". Which was perfectly described by Mikhail Saltykov-Shchedrin in his "History of a Town". Which humorously shows what Russia is. Or even better - read his short story about old horse.

  10.  @comment6864  Well, wash your ears. Medvedchuk was exchanged for nearly a hundred of Azov fighters. Zolkin (UA journalist) has YouTube channel where he shows all Russian POWs just as an evidence for RU authorities, who don't bother exchanging them. While Ukraine CONSTANTLY applies for exchange of all POW's 1 for 1 principle.
