One of them is even an harsh socialist ('socialism in Sweden is great") despite the fact that his father was in the gulag in the sixties. 2.'historically conservatives have been racist, anti-Semitic bigots" You should open an history book. democrats brought us slavery, civil war, John Wilkes Booth, the KKK, Jim Crow, lynchings, segregation, the Tulsa Massacre, Woodrow Wilson, almost no help for Jews trying to escape Hitler's Holocaust, refusal to bomb the holocaust camp's rail lines, Japanese internment camps, the welfare state that destroyed the black communities, Add in the only successful coup d’tat in American history - the 1898 Wilmington NC Massacre - where duly elected black leaders and their white supporters were killed and democrats took over the government and installed Jim Crow.
