  1.  @rgama1173  The interesting part of Darwin's book, is that he doesn't prove the "necessity of strength" at all. Which of the 18 kinds of Galapagos finches was stronger than the other 17 and wiped them out in the "struggle for life"? The question contradicts itself. If the way of the world was for the strongest to wipe out the rest, there would only be one type of Galapagos finch. What Darwin's evidence demonstrates, is Peter Thiel's maxim "competition is for losers". The lesson from Darwin' evidence, is that winners find a new niche to prosper in, and there is more than one winner.

  2. Islam has never been able to get its s**t together except to form authoritarian clustershows. It might be a failure mode for some parts of Europe, but if so, we will see new Eugene of Savoy or Charles Martel characters arise.
