  1. Hot take: - We'll only get more Americans if fertility rates go positive again. Most Americans don't want more immigration, so that will stop. - Climatic changes are dramatically overstated. Expect this not to be a thing. - High Speed Rail isn't going to happen. Even the LA to SF line can't be built because it's not much benefit to the people at the terminals and a it's nuisance to everyone in between. - With telework, city density will crater. San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago are horrible places to live and people are moving out. - Greater CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere allow plants to be more drought-resistant, so more trees might happen; then again, wood is useful, so expect more forestry. Let's see if Geoff can change my mind.

  2. @@A_R_B_G Are you talking about atmospheric balance or ecological balance? The two are not the same. Fortunately, the computer models climate "scientists" are using to make their predictions are completely useless for making predictions like that. The catastrophes people are predicting, simply aren't going to happen.
