"The Royal Navy doesn't do much that isn't greenlit by the Pentagon" Britain has an aircraft carrier, which takes up so much of Britain's naval budget it can't fund the support ships necessary to keep a carrier alive in a war. These support ships are provided by the US Navy, whenever the US Navy decides the mission is an appropriate one.

  2. "If no one is signing up for the military, that's bad news for the Military-Industrial Complex" Hardly. It means you have to have more machines (drones, etc) to have wars instead of squishy people, who tend to get damaged and require expensive medical care that takes up even more of defense appropriations.

  3. "Why wouldn't you go to China to train their pilots?" It's worse than you think. Major airlines in America have CEASED HIRING white pilots, because executives have their bonuses based on DEI goals.
