If English churches are not spearheading integration in the English society, then assimilation just won't happen. (Reasons that this is the case are manifold I'm sure.)

@suasanwatson6501 Far right communism? That's a new one. I've been seeing some very disturbing news, it's true. At this point I'm hoping by some miracle Calvin Robinson will be made Archbishop of Canterbury, and he can invite African missionaries (that is to say, devout Christian missionaries from Africa) to repopulate the C of E hierarchy after retiring (or defrocking) those who are not actually Christian.

@suasanwatson6501 I've heard nothing but good things about Rev Robinson. Have you heard different? I admit I've only heard him on sympathetic forums.

@suasanwatson6501 It's the best path forward I can see from here. Getting reinforcements from places where sanity is still common, would be a big help I think. That's happening in a lot of churches here in America.
