  2. "They're just a happy couple with kids now" -- And you're not allowed to question that narrative. People who refuse to look at these situations as rife with abuse, should be ashamed of themselves and ignored by anyone with any scrap of care for children.

  4. No way people like this should be allowed anywhere near children, much less to adopt them. Sorry, this is just too much. We were wiser, generations ago, and we need to bring those standards back.
