  2. "The Russians would have called it a fake" They would have done so during the live transmissions that were coming from the moon. The Russians were really very good at telling where radio transmissions were coming from, at this time.

  3. "Why did von Braun go to Antarctica?" Why indeed? He was a bureaucrat from a family of government bureaucrats. Going to Antarctica would have been a very different type of assignment, one for a more hands-on type of worker.

Look up Dennis Wingo of Ames Research Center if you want to get in touch with someone who has tried to keep the original data ported from the magnetic tape era to the digital era.
