In a world facing demographic collapse, why shouldn't work in the home be honored? Seems like the dishonoring of work in the home, is a cause of that collapse.

"I'm a young woman in 1920, Mum tells me not to be alone with a boy, boys don't get this level of restraint" What planet are you from? OF COURSE boys were taught the same thing. Did we tend to ignore it? Sometimes. The girls did too sometimes, but it's easier for boys to "get away with it".

"Feminism of freedom and feminism of care collided in the abortion debate, and history shows which one won" Er, no. In the United States, abortion guarantees have been overturned. And, our debates are starting to include demographic collapse, so abortion is on shaky ground all over the world. I expect the feminism of care to make a comeback -- or at least the cultures that adopted the feminism of freedom, to be history.

"I can choose when I want to have a child" -- This is a myth. More accurate would be, "I can choose not to have children when I'm young". There is absolutely no guarantee whatsoever -- and in fact, data shows that this doesn't happen a very high percentage of the time -- that these women will ever have a child "when I want to". The pill has a purely negating effect on fertility. Add to that what it does to men when it gets into the water supply, and I think we'll be seeing it banned as an environmental toxin by the end of the decade.

"The logical endgame of capitalism is the commoditization of everything" Only if you wreck all the institutions (like churches) that push back against it.
