  1. "What system is hostile to Liberal Democracy today?" Authoritarian Bureaucracy. That was easy. Ask me a tough one. Yes, this means that our government is more infested with our enemies than even at the height of the Red Scare. We have our work cut out for us if we're going to survive.

  2. This take on the 30 Years' War is bulls***. That war was caused by the ambition and greed of noble houses -- the Hapsburgs (who started the whole thing) and the Swedes, but also the defending powers of the Bourbons, Saxons, and Bavarians. But for the Hapsburgs, it would not have happened. If the printing press had not been invented, the Hapsburgs would have found another excuse to attempt to unite Germany and after that Europe.

  3. In 1517, the printing press meant that when Martin Luther said "Hey wait a minute, indulgences are toxic", he was heard by every major power in Central Europe and beyond. In 2017, the Internet and phone cameras meant that when the likes of Tim Pool (and hundreds of other independent creators) say, "Hey wait a minute, the narrative on Russia / Rittenhouse / Smollett / the Covington Kids / etc is complete nonsense", they are heard by tens of millions of people around the world.
