"Incompetent governance going through the entire state" -- The solution is returning to a system of Median-Voter legislation like Australia has, rather than a system of Median-Elite legislation like America has. If you just push more punitive governance, that will backfire. Trump is, honestly, the best solution we seem to have, to re-enfranchise the average American.

  2. Median Voter theory applies in Australia? Great for them -- in America, it's the Median Ivy League Bureaucrat that determines our laws. Maybe that's why the US is a "failed state" -- when the government is in opposition to the people, the people tend to win. =)
