  2. Apple has such a fat profit margin on the iPhone that they could absorb additional production costs from a significant portion of its supply chain being onshored. And honestly, all you need is a set of pilot plants in America with a nucleus of skilled personnel and sample production modules that could be ramped up rapidly. Offshoring 80% of the supply chain isn't as dangerous if you have a core you can ramp up quickly.

  3. Trump won't cancel student debt. For one, these are people who wouldn't vote for him anyway. For another, Trump was elected because the elites (and their cadets, the students) were getting rich and the working classes were getting worked over. Cancelling student debt would be a slap in the face to his base, and another handout to the overprivileged.
