Comments by "Jim Luebke" (@jimluebke3869) on "Lauren Southern: The Internet Breeds Dangerous Ideologies" video.
The fact that interdicting illegal immigrants is referred to as "far right," is in itself Far Left.

"It's a cop-out, it's saying you don't have any new ideas" Anyone saying they have "a new idea" is only saying they don't know much history.

@Itsstuff7328 Are you referring to the strategy, much celebrated by Leftwingers, about "Demographic inevitability"?
44
Lauren Southern: "You could do everything right..." Also Lauren Southern: "I really didn't do everything right, that probably doesn't get said enough" Seems like a bit of grace going both ways is essential.

Konstantin, when you're in year ELEVEN of your custody fight for more time, when your ex used separation from your kids as part of a strategy to take your house, THEN you can talk to dads about how "dads don't take responsibility". But you wouldn't want to, because you would know better. Any woman unwilling to accept a 50/50 custody agreement has NO RIGHT to complain about men who "don't take responsibility".
24
The obligation to be the same person you were 5 minutes ago is called "integrity". That said, it's virtually impossible to be the same person you were 5 or 10 years ago.
15
@Woodland-Gangsta I'm not going to believe her friends "did everything right" before listening to their husbands' side of the story. Listening is, after all, important.
13
@Itsstuff7328 It's definitely to make sure there's a sense of a color / class divide. In California, every face you see in a service job is brown, and every name is Spanish.

"Girls who date guys who don't mention they have kids" That's because they're guys. I was talking with my friend Scott at work, when our supervisor Agnes walked in to say hello and ask how my wife was doing, now that the baby was due in a few weeks. "Your wife is preggers? Congratulations!" my friend said. "How did you not know his wife was pregnant? You talk all the time!" responded Agnes. Scott and I just looked at each other, puzzled.

@djcointelpro8470 "Innocent" is an interesting way of describing people who engaged in committing a crime, who had deliberately put themselves in harm's way. Similarly, "assault" is an interesting way of describing a common harmless action meant to get someone's attention.

@WaterisbetterH20 If there's no first country rule in "international law," then f*ck "international law".
5
@scillyautomatic Yeah, it's important for families to get along, and to make sure you have a way of making bad situations good again. That was a problem I had -- my ex and I just didn't argue for the first several years. Later on we found things to argue about, but decided they "weren't worth arguing over" and we lied to ourselves about that until we couldn't anymore, then didn't have a way to fix things. I still think if we'd resolved a couple of things, we'd have been fine. (It didn't help that I was starving myself to lose weight and so was always short-tempered. I wish I'd realized that about myself sooner.)
5
Are they on hormonal birth control?

The judges and lawyers don't care until the divorce proceedings. Before then, it's you and your family and friends and church, and they're actually pretty helpful, if you pick the right friends and a traditional church.
4
Heck, "Alt right" used to just mean "anti-Establishment right".
4
This was quite possibly the least interesting conversation they could have had with her.
3
@vmasing1965 Category, "toxic reactions to current dating trends"? Pearl's take causes sterility, so it's not completely healthy.
3
"It's when women are expected to submit that things go sideways" Konstantin, I think that your wife probably submits to you more of the time than you think. Also if you look at that verse, the rest of it says that the husband is expected to put up with being tortured to d**th for his wife's sake. It seems to me that either expectation there could be abused.
3
Can Lauren provide a few names of people she thinks are "audience captured"?
3
@stevenwilliams1805 Any idea getting implemented anywhere, will turn out a little differently according to the context. The trick is not to let the context corrupt the core of the idea.
3
@lisapop5219 Step 1: It's not happening Step 2: It's only happening in extreme cases that we should ignore Step 3: It's happening and that's a good thing, you b*g*t.
2
@FactCheckerGuy You know, you can report posts for misinformation.
2
@bobSeigar Instant regret is real, but you're still the person who did what he regrets.
2
@signposts6189 It might turn out that her story isn't true at all, or he had arranged for her to move back with her parents. The possibilities are endless. Only an idiot trusts sound bites and half-stories.
2
@jacknickelson8096 Yeah... hold off on that judgement until you hear from her ex-husband.
2
"There isn't the same social disapprobation of men who abandon their children compared to single moms" Seriously? Seriously? Have you never heard the term "Deadbeat Dad"? If you know anything about g*n "violence", you'd know that male s**c*de due to getting scr*wed over by the divorce / custody / child support racket is the biggest single cause of g*n fatalities. If anything, considering the amount of damage single moms do by divorcing guys who don't want to get divorced, there is no amount of scorn we could heap upon them that would be enough.
2
"This will pass" Yeah, over a century from now when these divorced parents and their kids are in the ground. Divorce wrecks generations Konstantin, and pretending it doesn't is far from kind and compassionate -- it is stupid and cruel.

This was the least interesting conversation you could possibly have had with Lauren Southern. Talk about immigration, the recent elections in France and England, the impending US presidential election, ANYTHING other than an excuse for men to beclown themselves, trash-talking a basic human institution. You should be ashamed.
1
Should Lauren submit to that?
1
@Carroty_Peg Legally immigrated after going to private school in England, right?
1
@mk71b Ha, Google doesn't like hearing that the whole concept of "The Overton Window" is anti-Free-Speech and should be discarded.
1
@TheMcLaughlincrew Only, "Demographic inevitability" has actually been popularized and celebrated by Democrats. If she's moving away from that, she's moving away from the truth.
1
@gloriathomas3245 There really aren't any "right-wing" politics in America. The "Make America Great Again" types are nostalgic for the era when we pounded the fascists flat. They're proud of being anti-extremist. "Far-left", on the other hand, has infested American schools and universities, and have even taken to the streets in the 2020 "Summer of Love" riots. As far as Europe goes -- culturally, Europe actually further to the Right than America. Most of the cultural Left's bad ideas are American in origin, and are being fought against (often now, successfully.) Europe is only Left of America in economic terms.

@eemoogee160 Affordable housing. Job opportunities. Tax expenditures. Non-dilute voting power. You're imagining things if you believe that most people's lives are improved by mass migration. Maybe you're part of the class "so rich that the problems their policies cause don't affect them." Get ready to kiss a wall blindfolded.
1
@WaterisbetterH20 F*ck international law. =)
1
@WaterisbetterH20 It's about time to abrogate those "agreements", which were probably never agreed to by the actual citizenry of those countries anyway. You are pushing this beyond its breaking point. It will end. Lauren Southern is a hero.
1
@Capital_Ideas1 Lol, per capita income is falling in England (and elsewhere). If productivity were rising, we wouldn't see falling per capita income. Fiscal position is collapsing because fiscally, the immigrants are just getting handouts. Yeah... you're stuck in some fantasyland of your own theories. Pull your head out of wherever it is you've stuck it, and look at what's actually going on.
1
@xp7575 Kissin in buying into far-Left language manipulation.
1
@Tuberuser187 When lawful authority abandons its duties, that is called "cowardice" or "betrayal". At that point people are justified in taking their defense into their own hands.
1
@Tuberuser187 Illegal mass migration has more in common with military invasion, than interdicting it has in common with "piracy". Mostly because mass migration is what military defense is supposed to prevent, in the first place. How you can take the position you do while the streets of England run with p**s, s**t, and the bl**d of toddlers, is beyond comprehension.
1
@carolyna.869 Konstantin has some backbone sometimes. It's sad that this is so remarkable these days, although men who stand up with more strength are beaten severely by the system.
1
@Boldylock Except she said she didn't do everything right.
1
Apparently she worked with him making documentaries.
1
@jedcollings3624 Of course it's not up to me. It's up to the mass of humanity that has been thinking about values for generations -- or if you prefer, God. Changing "who you are" in 5 minutes is simply not possible, and claiming to do so is utterly dishonest and manipulative. Change takes time. People who change quickly (or love change) simply can't be trusted.
1
@furleysbrain Well, she's not literally a train anyway.
1
"Going back to a previous age isn't going to happen either" Why not? Regency England had a set of public morals broken in a similar way to our own. If we can repeat the awfulness of a previous age, why not repeat the greatness that followed it? Two people with cumbersome names coming from broken homes -- Alexandrina Victoria Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, and Franz August Karl Albert Emmanuel Saxe-Coburg Saalfeld) used their reaction to the awful experiences with that toxic culture to forge the most successful culture the planet Earth has ever seen.
1
"If you emit light, that's what you will get in return. If you get darkness, you will get that in return" And if you pretend that you see light when there is darkness, that lie will destroy you and everyone around you. There is a time for happytalk, and a time to admit when things are a mess.
1
@theunknownatheist3815 Officially in Canada, apparently.
1
It seems to me that both obligations can be cited abusively.
1
It's probably more helpful to marry someone already in your social network. Those connections can matter when information needs to flow.
1
"The religious extremist that says, 'if you follow this path you'll be okay'" You'll be okay and you'll thrive and prosper, or you'll get crucified, and then you'll be okay. Depends a lot of whether the people around you choose to treat you well too. If you think about it, telling pacifists they can't proselytize is just plain mean.
