  1. Doesn't the immune system have what you might call an "anchor bias" when it comes to reactions to pathogens? I've heard it called "Original pathogenic sin", and it refers to the fact that if the immune system develops one response to a pathogen, it will stick with that response, even if a more effective response is introduced later. If this applies to vaccines (which engender a less-effective immune response) versus natural immunity (which is a more-effective immune response), isn't it actively degrading a child's immune system in the long term, to have them vaccinated?
