"Douglas has been taken on tours of countries where they tried to impress him with how wonderful they are. I have too." That's a pretty clever slam against people who love Douglas for what he says about Israel, and h*te Tucker for what he says about Russia.

"Can do a 3-hour podcast" is the new "someone I'd like to have a beer with"

"Douglas has been taken on tours of countries where they tried to impress him with how wonderful they are. I have too." "Douglas has just destroyed his career" -- "I have too"

"Douglas has been taken on tours of countries where they tried to impress him with how wonderful they are. I have too." "Douglas has just destroyed his career" -- Should Tucker affix "I have too" to this comment as well? Seems to happen from time to time. Douglas is still an intelligent person and a clever person, (just like Tucker is still an open and curious person who tries to be honest) and when Douglas talks about the atrocities from 10 7, that is no less true than what Dave says about buildings in Gaza getting blown up with kids inside. More than one thing is true here, and people who are serious about judging both sides need to sort through it all.

Douglas Murray (who is something of a comedian himself) probably fears comedians like Dave Smith -- "The person who wins the debate isn't the one with the better points, it's the one who makes the audience laugh" is a reasonably well-known line of Douglas'.

"Yemen was more for the Saudis" -- I guess. The Houthis have been lobbing missiles at the Riyadh airport on a semi-regular basis for a while now. Except, the Houthis also shut down the Bab-El-Mendeb, which is basically like shutting down the Suez Canal (a major trade artery for Europe). Even the anti-Somali-pirate squadron the Europeans had based in Djibouti (right across from Yemen) couldn't do anything about that. Vance is right about the Europeans being pathetic, and not pulling their weight.

"Cooper's appearance on Tucker caused people to recoil" Could it be because Churchill's pro-war stance is at odds with our current feminized milieu so we know we're supposed to find it icky, but we know we need some level of spirit like that. And not only that, we're wondering if we would measure up because of how feminized we as feminism's critics have become? If everything that happened between Munich and 1945 were completely forgotten, the conventional wisdom of today would hold Neville Chamberlain and the Pacifists to be rock-solid moral exemplars they believed themselves to be at the time.
