"Bullying is uncommon in groups of mixed sexes and ages, because there are fewer peers with whom to compete for status" This suggests that grouping everyone together in age cohorts, as we do in schools, is probably a blunder.

"In ancestral situations, bullying might happen even between brothers for one piece of meat" How is that not simple aggression? it seems that there's a lot of monkey business along this bullying / aggression border.

@antinatalist9995 Starting about 13, kids should spend most of their days with some kind of apprenticeship.

"Isn't that rewarding bullies? In a way, we are" You're rewarding them for something that is not bullying behavior. You seem to be demonizing people who exhibit this behavior without leaving them any hope of redemption. Your demeanor also demonstrates your an emotional investedment in that demonization. This guy is singling out a group of people for reputational destruction in a forum (the conversation with Chris) where they cannot fight back, and his own reputation is not only safe but enhanced, not least because he is demonstrating that he can do this sort of harm. What does that make him, then?...

Be careful of this guy, he has a tendency to demonize people. Look into the critiques of this research before you embrace it.

"Bullies have more s*x" Isn't that because they're more willing to see people instrumentally?

Double-check to see if this guy's introduction to this subject was really so random as he claims.

All power is situational. So, all power imbalances are situational. Even the smallest can punch down, if they get the drop on someone.

If 40% of women really are bullies, and they mostly use reputational destruction, "Believe all women" would be an absolutely disastrous strategy.

One of the easiest ways of bullying someone in this day and age, is to accuse them of being a bully. (Reputational destruction).
