"The masculinity movement sees women as adversaries rather than compatriots" Between feminism and Family Law, this is too often perfectly accurate. Only a return to complementarity will solve this problem.

"We used to live in an era where we had hearings" Yes. Many or most of the people in charge, were veterans -- men unlikely to be daunted by looming physical danger. This changes what purveyors of violence are able to get away with by intimidation alone.

"Elitism is incredibly unfair" Conventional wisdom has a toddlerlike view of "fairness", and it's beneath you to spew it, Eric. Justice: Giving to each their due. Not "everyone gets the same".

"Mars doesn't get you anywhere. It's just Mars." Going back and forth from Mars will get us a great deal of experience in free space. Mars is probably as important for free space experience, as it is for habitation. It is also experience in terraforming, which is incredibly useful as well. Do you really think that any given Goldilocks, life-bearing planet will have the same suite of amino acids that Earth does? Unless we plan to burn down everything that was there before, building up from marginal might be a better bet for expansion.

"We don't have strong families (kids move away) because the markets are strong" Interesting that we've forgotten the migrant and the frontier as basic for America.

"I don't think men know how to fight as groups" Talk with your brother Bret about this. We've evolved to do it over a large span of years. Usually it involves obedience and authority, though. Disagreeable lone wolf types don't fight well as groups - that might be your problem.

"Anyone who's serious about interplanetary has to be serious about new physics" Eric, why don't you take on a half-dozen grad students at one of these new Universities (Austin, etc) and build up an institute where you are allowed to tell people "Get the h**l out of my lab"?

"The Internet drives the cost of being a prick down to zero" Which is good in situations where being a prick is absolutely essential. Peterson gets himself into these all the time, it seems. This is absolutely necessary to combat political correctness, i.e., the weaponization of good manners.

"You'd never guess there's enough information for a solve" In one science trivia game I participated in, the moderator read the question, "What do you measure with a s-" and then stopped, puzzled. I buzzed in, and answered "blood pressure". Which was correct; most people, on first reading, have no idea how to pronounce "sphygmomanometer".
