  2. "Why don't they look more authentic?" Because they're NOT authentic. The system (up until now) for selecting TV talking heads has not selected for authenticity - it has selected for ambition and attention-seeking, and there have been few enough candidates and few enough gatekeepers that the system was easy to corrupt. Exhibit A: Anthony Fauci.

  3. YouTube should give the USER the ability to filter their own feed. We have a "SafeSearch" switch on Google search. We can mark things Spam (and check our Spam folder to mark things "not spam") in Gmail. There should be a set of setting boxes we can tic saying "no ethnic jokes" or "no Bible verses" in our YouTube feed, if we're feeling thin-skinned about such things appearing there.
