  2. "You don't have to choose between cleanliness and freedom of speech" You DO have to choose between cleanliness on the one hand, and freedom from disgust on the other. It is no accident that Gavin Newsom's San Francisco not only pioneers the celebration of revolting personal habits as "pride" and "rights", it also is the most famous for phone apps tracking s**t on its streets, and toleration of "open-air drug scenes" where people regularly die in the gutter.

  3.  @scorpo8166  The fact that homeless people were tolerated on the streets like that, points to the fact that the voters (or politicians) aren't disgusted by them, enough to do something about it. You are clearly not old enough to remember an America where this didn't happen. I am. Please readjust your political point of view to take these facts into account.
